How to Search Findsindex Without Opening Twenty Tabs
A good search tells you what to look at next. Start with the item, add one detail that could change your choice, and leave out words that do not make the results more specific.
Start with the item, not a pile of buzzwords
Write the item the way you would describe it to another person: “brown leather shoulder bag,” “lightweight zip hoodie,” or “size 42 running shoe.” Product type, color, shape, and use are usually enough for the first search.
Avoid stacking brand names, categories, sources, and promotional adjectives in one line. If the results are messy, remove words until you can tell which one is actually helping.
Add one detail that could change your choice
The second part of the search should answer a real question. For clothing, that may be a chest or sleeve measurement. For shoes, it may be an insole length or outsole view. For a bag, it may be the interior, strap drop, or exact dimensions.
- Add measurements when a size label is not enough.
- Add warehouse photos when you need views of the item that arrived.
- Add packed weight when a box or bulky shape may affect the parcel.
Use the source name only when it helps
Add Weidian or Taobao when you are trying to find the marketplace page. Add 1688 when quantity tiers or wholesale-style options matter. Add Yupoo when the row points to an album and you need to locate the matching item or code.
The source name only tells the search where to look. It does not make the seller reliable, the listing current, or the price complete.

Keep the shape simple: item + detail. These examples are starting points, not fixed phrases.

If you are unsure what details matter, check the category guide before changing the search again.
Check the result before you save it
A good title is not enough. Open the page and check that the item, option, photos, and measurements match what you searched for. If the link was converted for another service, keep the original URL and compare the destination.
- The item type and option match the search.
- The page shows the detail I was trying to find.
- The price belongs to the option I want.
- The source and destination are understandable.
- I can say why this result is worth saving.
Stop when the results start repeating
If the same kinds of products keep appearing, more scrolling is unlikely to solve the problem. Save the best two or three and compare them. Search again only when all of them miss the same important detail.
