A Seven-Point Check Before You Save a Product Link
It is easier to reject a weak row now than after it becomes one of twenty open tabs. Give the row one point for each thing it gets right and keep the reason for every point.
The seven-point checklist
- The item belongs in the category I am browsing.
- Photos show the details that matter for this product type.
- Sizing, measurements, or fit notes are visible when needed.
- Price makes sense beside similar finds.
- Shipping weight does not ruin the value.
- The row is not just hype or a vague label.
- I can explain why I would save this find.
This is a way to clean up your list, not a product verification. Seven points means the row deserves another look. It does not prove anything about the seller or a future transaction.
Score your row
Do not inflate the score because you like the thumbnail. A point belongs to something you can point to. If sizing is not important for the item, note why instead of awarding the point automatically.
The right photos depend on the item
Do not award a point just because there are many pictures. Check whether they show the parts that matter for the item.
| Category | Views worth having | What is often missing |
|---|---|---|
| Shoes / sneakers | Both sides, heel, toe, outsole, insole measurement | Only one angled hero photo |
| Hoodies / shirts | Front, back, print, fabric, chest and length | Size label without measurements |
| Bags | Interior, base, hardware, straps, dimensions | No scale or capacity reference |
| Jackets | Lining, closures, cuffs, sleeve and chest measurements | No view of internal construction |
| Accessories | Front, back, closures, edges, exact dimensions | Decorative image without functional detail |
If the photos came from a separate gallery or older row, check the item, source, and date before assuming they show the same option.
Good row example
The score helps because every point has a reason. The number by itself does not tell you anything.
Weak row example
Remove the row for now. If better measurements or a matching source appears later, score the new information instead of carrying the old guess forward.
Finish this sentence
If the blanks are hard to fill, the row is not ready. “It looks good” or “people like it” is not specific enough.
What to do next
Use the category guide to see what the item should show, check likely packed weight, and read the safety notes before leaving the site.
If the row remains useful, browse the Global Weidian search on Findsindex.
