Four Practical Guides for Sorting Product Finds

Open the page that matches the thing holding you up right now. You do not need to read everything before you can clean up a shortlist or check one product.

Not sure which one to open?

You are still choosing

  • Use the shortlist guide when the saved list is getting long.
  • Use the product-page guide when one row looks promising.
  • Write one reason for keeping each final option.

The item is already at the warehouse

  • Use the photo guide when the warehouse images arrive.
  • Use the parcel guide before choosing packaging or a route.
  • Replace early guesses with the measurements you now have.
03

Use the guide without making more work

  1. Name the problem. “I need to choose between these three jackets” is enough.
  2. Keep only the facts that matter. Skip details that will not change what you do.
  3. Know when to pause. A missing measurement, wrong option, or unclear photo can be enough.
  4. Write the next step. Keep, ask, remove, or check with the service holding the item.
04

Keep one note, not a folder of screenshots

Your final note only needs the item, the source page, the detail that matters most, the main thing still unclear, and what you plan to do next. Keep the screenshots that support that note and delete the duplicates.

If you cannot explain why a row is still on the list, it probably does not belong there yet.
